Hey! Looks like you're using an outdated version of Firefox. My site looks pretty crazy, doesn't it? That's because this browser has a number of parsing bugs which prevent it from rendering HTML5 correctly. It's also slower and less secure than Firefox 3. Why don't you go upgrade your browser?

is where THE GRAPHIC DESIGNER talks about things. Like web design. And icons. And egg rolls.

You might find no useful information at all.

But I know you will read on like a true champion.

How to Use the Unison to Sync a Local Folder With a Remote One on Bluehost

Update: you can!

This is a several-step kind of tutorial, and you’ll need a few tools:

  • A text editor
  • An FTP client
  • SSH access to your site (driver’s license or similar is required for this on bluehost, contact them for more info)
  • Unison
  • Lingon (if you want to automate the syncing, which I wouldn’t recommend for reasons given later)
  • PuTTY if you’re on Windows. I did not test this with Windows at all, but most of the steps should be similar.

Once you have all the tools, proceed to Step One.
